SSTH 2024 isn't merely an event—it's a journey of innovation, creativity, and limitless possibilities, bringing together young and creative minds with a shared passion for solving real-world problems. The 11th edition of Sahyadri Science Talent Hunt continues to nurture curiosity, critical thinking, and an entrepreneurial mindset among school and college students, encouraging them to identify challenges within their communities and transform their ideas into meaningful solutions through technology and creativity.

Be With Engineering:

Picture an arena where passion and purpose intertwine, where collaboration becomes the catalyst for groundbreaking innovation. Here, ideas are transformed into prototypes through mentorship, exploration, and hands-on experience. The top 100 teams get the opportunity to participate in the two-day 'Be With Engineering' program, where students interact with industry professionals and aspiring engineers, explore the labs, Launchpads, and incubation centres at Sahyadri, and experience the complete idea-to-product cycle. SSTH continues to inspire students to harness their skills, tackle community challenges, and discover the possibilities that engineering can create.

The Grand Overture

SSTH 2024—a celebration of intellect, innovation, and imagination—created a platform for students across schools and colleges to showcase their ideas and bring them to life. The challenges encouraged students to develop solutions in different fields of science and technology, presenting their work through models, prototypes, and working projects. As the ideas were evaluated by the judges, the Grand Finale became a celebration of young innovators, giving the winners an opportunity to further develop their projects and pitch their ideas to investors.

Innovation for Women's Safety:

A special highlight of SSTH 2024 was the introduction of a dedicated prize category for women's safety. This initiative encouraged young innovators to develop meaningful solutions focused on the safety and empowerment of women. From wearable safety devices and mobile applications to AI and machine learning solutions, community-based platforms, and educational tools, participants were invited to explore innovative ways of addressing this important social challenge. Through mentorship, recognition, networking, and opportunities for further development, SSTH 2024 continued its journey of turning young ideas into solutions with lasting impact.
